White Jigs Or Tubes

I've seen several videos of guys around the country using white jigs. I know white tubes can be good for smallmouth.  There are LM and SM in my reservoir and I was thinking of trying white.  No shad present but white perch are plentiful.  Just curious who's had success using white jigs or tubes and with which species?

I've started river fishing more lately and have had good luck catch largemouth and Suwannee bass with those heavily salted strike king tubes!

Never tried a white jig unless it was a swimjig.. Id think youd probably be good to go if you planned on swimming it.

I've bought a few bags of the strike king bleeding tubes(white and red)

Worked great in my pond, out on the lake, and on the river, for largemouth that is!

I've done well with a white jig for largemouth in lakes with no shad. Almost every baitfish has some white in it. I like to fish them faster than craw colored jigs though.

I use white and lighter coloured tubes a lot for imitating baitfish. Tend to fish them with fairly aggressive hops and not necessarily near or on the bottom.

One of my favorite jigs for summer night time fishing is white with a blue trailer.  I also use them in brush when the water is high.
