blackmax135 Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 I have a guy selling some costa 400g blue mirror triple tail sunglasses for $90. Got 2 small scratches in places you don't notice unless you take glasses off. Is this worth it? Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted June 11, 2014 Super User Posted June 11, 2014 For 90$, I would jump on it. But also remember, you can Bnib 580's on fleabay for sometimes 40$ more depending on how popular the frame is Quote
Capt.Bob Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 For 90$, I would jump on it. But also remember, you can Bnib 580's on fleabay for sometimes 40$ more depending on how popular the frame is They won't be new Tripletails with 580G I would thing the 400G's if scratched, it is just the mirror finish. I have to agree at any point, G or P 400 Costas are well worth 90 bucks, and doubt it would cost much to have them replaced by Costa. I have Blue mirror 580G Permit's and Green Mirror 580G Blackfins and paid $175.00 for both, I had to shop around a little and you have to be carefull as Costas are the most counterfeited sunglasses on the market!! The 580 is unbelievable and nothing else compares, they have to be worn to believe. If you are sure what they are and can trust the seller go for it, they will always be worth 90 bucks if you want to sel them!! You can't loose! 1 Quote

Capt.Bob Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Yea they aren't counterfit. I know the person well and they arent capable and i was around when they bought them. I'm goin for it Thanks guys Counterfeited Sunglasses have nothing to do with the person you know counterfeiting them. They are mass produced by companies which can copy to the enth degree the features of the originals, and they are sold by "non authorized dealers" the only way to be safe is for the original purchaser to have bought them at a reputable dealer. In other words I would never buy a pair of Costa sunglasses from Wall Mart or Dollar General, extreme examples but this is what I meant. If you know where he got em you can be pretty sure of what your getting. Quote
blackmax135 Posted June 12, 2014 Author Posted June 12, 2014 Like i said i was around when they bought them. She bought them off the costa website. Quote
