Super User JustJames Posted July 10, 2017 Super User Posted July 10, 2017 Let get back to our topic of catch show case, would ya? It's been pretty d**n hot here in Canyon Lake CA. I think the highest reach 115 and still stay hot during the night. The worth part is my home AC went south and the guy won't be able to come out to fix it until Tuesday, that is SUCK. My friend manage to catch 3, two on walking dog and last on jerkbait (LC pointer) edit video added 14 Quote

hawgenvy Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 I snatched this 5-3 out of heavy pad cover while bank fishing tonight. The formula: Powell Max 3D 8 foot punching stick, #65 Seaguar braid, and a Missile Baits D Bomb in Candy Grass on a snelled flipping hook with a pegged 1 oz weight. 15 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 12, 2017 Global Moderator Posted July 12, 2017 Had a really good day on the 6th. Came up just short of 20 pounds for my biggest 5, which is the cutoff for what I consider a really good day here. It was my first time fishing a craw tube, and it won't be my last. I had the fish I needed to go over 20 pounds. The one I broke off in the video slammed a YUM Magnum Christie Critter and had no give on the hookset, but unfortunately the line parted almost instantly. 11 Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted July 12, 2017 Global Moderator Posted July 12, 2017 Cool video. Looked like a great day. Next time you go out you'll have to sit for 14 minutes though, I counted 7 fish release penalties. J/K ? 3 Quote

I'll say "That's a 2 minute fish landing violation", in a lot of my videos when one hits the carpet or the guy in the back drops one. 2 Quote

Great video .I have fished cristy critters before and have never gotten bit on them ,which is strange because the fish here love soft plastics. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 13, 2017 Global Moderator Posted July 13, 2017 I've caught some on the regular and small size ones, but this was my first time trying the magnum size, it's huge. 2 Quote
