jr231 Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Nice pig I caught tonight in a murky , large chocolate milk pond. 1 of 13 or so... All on a "jika" (or jig) rigged structure bug and keitech crazy flapper... Burning it on the bottom like a swing head. Picture doesn't do it justice ! She had a fat belly and was full of something. Sunfish I'm assuming. 14 Quote

WOW! nice fish! now throw him in for taking your fish. "no just kidding" I would be just as happy if my brother would have caught it. congrats! Quote
boostr Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Man, I'm getting jealous. Haven't been able to go out. Either the weather sucks, I get sick, or I go to work. 1 Quote
Super User QUAKEnSHAKE Posted May 5, 2017 Super User Posted May 5, 2017 Very windy out today up here in northern IL. This is the biggest of the day at 2 1/2 pounds SV105 reel, 16# sniper, 7' M/F Helios rod. 11 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted May 6, 2017 Global Moderator Posted May 6, 2017 Weather was pretty awful on my days off, to go with really high and muddy water from the several inches of rain we've recently got, but still managed to grind out some nice ones. I do like 1 thing about muddy water, most rods I had out either day was 4. Spinnerbait and jig were doing the most damage, especially on the bigger fish. Got my dad into his first few jig fish ever, including this solid little chunk. Bonus that his store bought jig wasn't working, then he started catching when I gave him one of my homemade jigs. 18 Quote
Logan S Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Hot streak still rolling... Took another win up on Conowingo yesterday with a 5 fish limit weighing 19lbs 4oz. These 3 certainly helped the cause. Water was really muddy from recent rains but the flipping bite was great...It was a single rod day and I probably caught 30+ keepers throughout the day. My co-angler also go 3rd in the Co division with around 12lbs, good day all around. Flipping a Black/Blue Rage Bug into the nasty stuff accounted for every single fish for me, definitely need a restock now! 16 Quote

mllrtm79 Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 My only keeper from my buddy tournament yesterday. My partner did put 2 in the live well. We had a good bite going until about 830, then the wind picked up and catching just stopped. Only caught 3-4 dinks after that. 20 1/4" 4.14 lbs, was good for big bass on our pond, but 4.98 was lunker of the day. (6 pond tournament). She really looks bigger than that, but is skinny from just having spawned. 9 Quote

ArmyBassin' Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Caught this one last week right before a storm blew in. Unfortunately the picture doesn't do it justice, there is a pretty aggressive alligator so I had to be quick. She weighed in at 6lbs 10 11 Quote
