Super User A-Jay Posted September 3, 2016 Super User Posted September 3, 2016 Thanks ~ But I was being funny. (apparently unsuccessfully I might add.) A-Jay 1 Quote
Torn Thumb Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 I love being able to see how the bass are all different shades of green, white, and black depending on where they came from. Obvious lateral lines to faint ones. Another reason to keep at it. Gotta Catch Em All. 2 Quote
Super User Jar11591 Posted September 5, 2016 Super User Posted September 5, 2016 Got a really good one on a COLD morning in the Adirondack Mountains. Air temperature was 42°, very foggy and she crushed a Rapala Skitter Walk. Biggest of the year so far. This fish is responsible for the most aggressive, violent top-water strike I have ever witnessed. Caught, weighed, photographed and promptly released. 13 Quote
ubfishy Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 I finally have a fish worth sharing. Unfortunately I didn't check the scale battery (of course it was dead) so I don't know the weight. Caught on Lake Kissimmee using black and blue senko. It was really hot and she didn't put up much of a fight. 5 Quote
jr231 Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 I believe Red drum aka redfish or channel bass . A type of croaker Quote

Super User A-Jay Posted September 18, 2016 Super User Posted September 18, 2016 Water Temps are in the mid-60's here now. Perfect "Football" Weather and today they came in Pairs. A-Jay 19 Quote
Super User Gundog Posted September 19, 2016 Super User Posted September 19, 2016 Got out on the Susquehanna river for some wading. The river is low but that is normal for this time of year. The first smallie I hooked was a nice 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. The 4 others were dinks but fun. The first one came on a Zoom fluke. After that nothing bit for about an hour so I switched to a small spinnerbait with a twin tailed grub on the back. That bait is almost a guarantee to catch fish on the river. Not a big bass bait but good for numbers. 7 Quote
Super User MIbassyaker Posted September 25, 2016 Super User Posted September 25, 2016 Dawn buzzbait fish from a week ago; best of 4 on an otherwise slow morning, about 2 3/4 lb: Unfortunately it might end up being my last until spring. I rarely get to fish oct through mar, even when there is open water. and the way this fall is shaping up, finding time for another outing before dec is unlikely to happen except by accident. 4 Quote
Super User Gundog Posted September 26, 2016 Super User Posted September 26, 2016 These pics are from this weekends trip to the Susquehanna river. My first fish Saturday was the biggest of the weekend, coming in at about 3 1/2 pounds. Caught it throwing a small beetlespin style spinner downriver. It gave me a good five minute fight then jumped out of the water. After that happened I thought I lost the fish cause I didn't feel it on the line. Turns out the smallie ran upriver faster than I could reel. When I caught up with it on the reel it was still not exhausted. It tried to swim between my legs like most do but I blocked it then lipped it. After the big one all the others were dinks. 6 Quote

Super User Gundog Posted September 26, 2016 Super User Posted September 26, 2016 North of Bloomsburg, close to the new Shickshinny boat launch. Water temp that weekend was cooler. Not sure how cool but I could feel the difference between Wednesday when I was out and Saturday as far as water temp. Quote
Super User WIGuide Posted September 26, 2016 Super User Posted September 26, 2016 Finally back to catching some nice ones again after a week long dink-fest up north. Smallest one pictured was just over 17" 9 Quote
