Had a decent weekend, not a quantity weekend, but did well on the size.

I snuck out to a pond tonight, in spite of the hot sticky windless miserableness of the weather. I swear the only breeze was that generated by the beating wings of my personal congregation of gnats.  Why do they love my ears? Anyway, the Menace Grub came through for me tonight.  I tried the Delta Red for the first time, on a whim, and it brought me a half dozen 2-4 pounders in an hour. It was nice also to spot the gallinule chicks with their mom.

Long arming some 14"ers for all the folks that love it. I caught about 30 of them drop shotting some brush piles, it was pretty neat, I dropped to the individual fish a couple times.

Water temp is bathwater, outside temp is armpit. This bass felt like it had a fever.

It is actually not that bad in calm water. I share this lake with all the skiers no 5mph zone, so it kind of tough when they come out to play. I only stay near bank and cove. I think next time I will either take my kayak or boat out where houses and docks 5mph zone lake. The WP 110 is actually pretty good I might get another one in loon color.

So we waited for the sun to go down and went to the lake, seemed like the perfect time.

My sister landed a fish and was upset when all she had was "slop" and it got away but to her surprise there was something else under there.

Let's just say she was really happy and proud when "her" bait she picked out for us to use worked.

As for me, I didn't catch anything but i am using a new bait caster rig and i do like this setup but i haven't caught anything on it yet.

I'm still trying to figure out how i can cast a t-rig senko just out pass the dock and slop and not bringing in slop on every retrieve would be great. <3

Got my biggest of the year this morning. This fish was on the thin side, but it had a giant head and mouth and was 21.5" long.

Got her on a LiveTarget popper. She just barely sipped it in with no blow up or boil.

Nice was that on a popper frog or minnow popper?

Caught this AM on a 20 acre pond in Vermont. I was about to give up as it was slow and I kept catching pickerel. Just throwing a keitech 4" easy shiner on a 3/16 oz. jig head with light tackle. The drag let out a scream and it was on. 4.3 lbs. Biggest one of the year, so far.

Had 30 minutes to catch a fish...only took 5 minutes on my 3rd dock...lol  Not huge but was nice to see the newly purchased Hornet patterned Spro Bronzeye 65 bring it in.

Got out the other day with the lady . We had a blast with senkos and jig/chunks.

They were all about the same size.

It'd be a better picture If I could upload more than 857kb. But it is what it is.

 Thanks -

Life's been coming at us kind of hard up here recently.

Haven't been able to get out.

Today felt good though.
