LunkerGuy Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 I bought some nail polish today, and regardless of the looks I got, I wonder if this stuff will hold up or peel off. I want to paint my football heads and slip sinkers to closely match my plastics. Anyone recommend the right kind of paint and where to buy it??? Thanks Quote

JT Bagwell Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 I use the Pro-Tec powder coat paints for my jigs. It works great. If you bake it after you put it on, the finish will be super tough. JT Bagwell Quote
earthworm77 Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 You know what I think about this!!! Moat guys who powder paint do not cure them in the oven like you are supposed to. I do. I don't have any problems with the paint chipping off. Quote

BronzeBack Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Try a permanet marker, no bake, dries to the touch in seconds, and you can touch them up while in the boat or on the bank. Quote
