bradc36 Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 I'm thinking of picking up a couple powell rods, probably endurance series, as per many recommendations. Is there a better place to buy than tackle warehouse? I've seen a few members mention that they got them for $150 or so. If there is any other series of rod they make you may suggest feel free. Thanks. Quote

Super User rippin-lips Posted June 10, 2014 Super User Posted June 10, 2014 I have mostly max series. Not sure the endurance is worth the extra dollars. Max is a great bang for the buck Imo It's definitely worth the extra $20. Better blank and guides. You'll feel the difference if you own them both. Quote
NorthFloBassin Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 The Powell inferno is a great rod. Not your typical 130$ rod, trust me you won't regret it. Amd at bass tackle depot right now there only 100$. Very light and sensitive and the warranty is awesome. The 7 ft med hvy is amazing for t rigs and the 6'10 med is a good Sqaurebill rod. But really look at the inferno you won't regret it. Quote
triwbass Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Call Sheltons clothing in moulton alabama he is powell dealer and he will beat most prices...diesels 5o bucks daily...inferno 100 daily lots of endurance too Quote
