Shanes7614 Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Seems like a sensible thing to do. Most likely it was lost on a fish. So you know one fish in that certain place has an appetite for that specific presentation. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted June 10, 2014 Global Moderator Posted June 10, 2014 I spend several days each winter walking the banks of the local lakes looking for lures. This past winter I picked up nearly 100 crankbaits from the shoreline of several different lakes, along with a couple duck decoys, a bowfishing arrow, a nice rain jacket, 2 reel covers, and about a billion bobbers. Some of those baits I keep for myself, some are given away, some are cleaned up and sold 3 Quote
RMcDuffee726 Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 The only thing that has happened to me is that I will find lures hooked on submerged trees and such from bank fisherman because I have a kayak and can retrieve some items. I really love it, but I haven't thrown anything I've found yet. I need to replace the treble hooks on the jointed crank I found. Fire Tiger color too. 1 Quote

Creekcrappie Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 One time I was crappie fishing and I found a bandit 100 in firetiger. I wasn't catching anything so I tied it onto my line even though it only had one sharp hook. I ended up losing two nice 3 lb+ fish, and ended up landing a 4 pounder and, two two pounders. I also found a kvd 1.5 in sexy shad and it fits in nicely with my other two kvd 1.5s in sexy shad. Quote

Super User Scott F Posted June 10, 2014 Super User Posted June 10, 2014 My fishing partner and I found a very new X-Rap in the hot steel color hanging from a tree one day. He started using it on a spot that has a small un-named island with a rock reef next to it. He caught a bunch of smallies, nearly one on every cast, with that bait. We now call that spot, Hot Steel Island. Quote
