jcoholich Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 I read recently that raymarine units can now record sonarlogs and be uploaded online through Navionics... Has anyone actually tried to do this yet? I am wondering if this is something that is easy to do with a raymarine unit and if the quality of recorded data is as accurate as that of the units that have been able to do this since the beginning. Any input on this subject is welcome. Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted June 9, 2014 Super User Posted June 9, 2014 I do it with Humminbird equipment, you enter the transducer depth below the surface when you upload the recordings to the Sonar Chart server. The "accuracy" is what you make it. For freshwater, you need either Navionics Hotmaps Platinum (regional) or Navionics+ software to participate in the Sonar Charts program. You would need to have a Raymarine unit that has the recording capability. Quote
