Super User Choporoz Posted June 9, 2014 Super User Posted June 9, 2014 Over the years, I've accumulated a few plastics (curly tail worms, trick worms, stick worms, etc.) in blaze orange, bubble gum pink, methiolate, etc. I have tried them all and can't remember EVER catching a single bass with one. Is it just me? Just Virginia bass? Water conditions? Temps? Time of day? Should I continue to carry these? Or put them away until I go fishing in Texas or some other place where these are going to work better? Quote
Super User Catch and Grease Posted June 9, 2014 Super User Posted June 9, 2014 Bright plastics work great in the right conditions. In the lake I fish the water is really dark and the yellow bruised banana trick worm works wonders. Especially when its sunny. Quote
Super User F14A-B Posted June 9, 2014 Super User Posted June 9, 2014 I believe they were created as Visual aids for fisherman. Eg. Bed fishing, top water floating worm... Quote
