Super User ChrisD46 Posted June 9, 2014 Super User Posted June 9, 2014 Beyond the original Z-Man Chatterbait - what is your favorite size , make and trailer combo of bladed swim jig ? I find this an interesting lure category to explore as the water heats up and bass respond more to a lure with a lot of action ! Quote

Mr_Scrogg Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 C&C Custom Lures Bladed Jig. Believe 3/8oz, "Blackout" for dirtier water, Golden Shiner for Clear water Quote
Tartan34 Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 D&M Beast/Baby Beast. D&M blade and skirt with a screw-lock Owner Beast hook. This is one of my go-to baits, and always have at least one tied on. Quote
shawnmc Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 D&M Custom Baits Piranha for me. They have great colors, nice skirts, and the detailed painted heads look fantastic. Much more durable then the Z-Man Chatterbaits. Quote
beagle 25 Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 C&C custom baits "rock and roll" in black and blue with an RI dirty sanchez little dipper on the back Quote
Super User ChrisD46 Posted June 10, 2014 Author Super User Posted June 10, 2014 Interesting comments regarding suppliers I am not so familiar with - I plan to search them out shortly and start learning what makes a good bladed swim jig . Quote
Mr_Scrogg Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Get with Bluebasser86 on here for the C&C Bladed Jigs. He also sells them at Mondotackle.com Quote
Big Swimbait Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Another vote for D&M. The free swinging EWG hook lets me rig the trailer weedless - I can throw it anywhere! The same with their Buzz Saw buzzbait. Quote
