I have mixed feelings. Part of me hopes they do. Part of me hopes they don't. If it means I have to hear about how LeBron is better than Kobe for a year than I hope they don't. However, I am starting to warm up to LeBron.

could really care less who wins it or what happens. either way the media is gonna make it all about lebron james to the point where it gets annoying. i remember hoping james would get a ring a couple years ago just so the media would shut up about if he would ever get a ring or not.

In what manner?

have to respect LeBron's talent...kinda like Pete Rose for me...(old school tellin' my age) lol..

but the whole "decision" thing turned me off.  i liked him while in Cleveland...and don't blame him for leaving...it is how he did it.  and the whole "introduction ceremony" for him and Bosh...was a huge turn off..

not to mention he "gets fouled" on every play.  i'm tired of that act.

i definitley don't care for the Heat...they all flop (ie. see Wade) and Chalmers is flat out dirty... that elbow he gave Parker last night was worthy of an ejection and at least a one game suspension.  imo

LeBron is a hell of an athlete. Now that I've gotten over the whole "the decision". I've decided to start watching him play. " The Decision" ticked me off. I thought it was stupid and childish. However, I've done stupid and childish things before. So I can't hold that against him. Still he is a hell of an athlete. I just prefer watching Kobe.

There will not be a three peat if Miami plays again like they did last night. The spurs got into an offensive rhythm like I have never seen . They were making shots from everywhere & everybody. The whole team contributed big time. Outclassed  by the Spurs & outplayed.

I personally wont take anything away from Lebrons talent. I personally will always feel he should have been removed from basketball after his last game in the playoffs with Cleavland. I understand everyone can have a bad game. But anyone who watched that whole game 7 when Cleavland was in there last year with him, is ether incompetent, or star struck to believe he didn't lay down and throw that game. I am sorry I hope the so called "king" never wins another ring!!! Being what I said I bleed Celtic green!!! anytime the Celtics aren't there the Spur's are my next choice, and quite frankly I don't think there is a franchise in basketball with more class, or better roll models from owners to the bench than you will find throughout the entire Spur's organization!! With that said, I'll be pulling for the spur's, GO POPI !!!!! :ok-wink:

I got back into basketball because of my daughters who are playing in leagues and love it.  I enjoy watching Miami.  It reminds me of the Jordan Bulls era.  when they were winning championships to some degree.

With that said I wouldn't mind a Spurs win.  Those "old guys" are playing their best ball and deserve a championship.  Lebron and co. will have other changes beyond this series IMO.

Side note:  Jordan over LeBron  :D

The heat still can't win even with the ac on. As a Celtics fan, I hope the heat get stomped

Even though i'm from Florida, I still want spurs to win and for duncan to get his last ring before retiring.

LeBron is proving to be a joke. Muscle cramps, got to poop, flopping, crying instead of playing D, etc. He is a HELL of an athlete, but he doesn't play like the best player in the world on the biggest stage in the NBA. I don't ever want to hear anyone compare him to Jordan again. Jordan was 6 - 0 in the NBA finals and never saw a game 7. The Bulls would have probably won 8 in a row if he hadn't decided to try to play baseball. Jordan stayed in Chicago and made everyone he played with better. He didn't have to make a "decision" just to win a championship. LeBron doesn't have the killer mentality and leadership that Jordan did. I would go as far to say that LeBron doesn't even have the same effect on his team that Kobe did.

LeBron is a great athlete, but he doesn't have the "it" factor that Jordan did. LeBron is very lucky to have 2 Championships and after this series he will have a losing record in the finals.

I am a huge Thunder fan, but I have said all along, until KD quits trying to be Mr. nice guy and start getting an attitude, they will never win a championship.

Thugs? SMH.

Lebron James, DWade, Ray Allen, and Chris Bosh are absolute model citizens off the court. You can say what you want about them, but they are far from thugs.

The Spurs are simply much better. It has absolutely nothing to do with Lebron vs Jordan. Jordan always had the best team and the best coach, hence the undefeated record. He took full advantage of that so I cannot take anything away from him. I grew up watching him and he will always be my favorite player.

But I don't hate on Lebron just because he wasn't like the guys I watched back in the day.

Wow all the ripping on Lebron is crazy...he is the most talented player to ever step on an NBA court with maybe Wilt beating him out.  Jordan was a way worse complainer and a horrible teammate, benefitted from coming into the league at a perfect time and the league was very weak, and don't even get started on his off the court stuff....and Kobe, ehh good player who is more of a head case than anyone on the heat oh and his off the court record is pretty stellar....

The spurs are a better coached team and have players that fit their system perfectly.  Miami is looking tired and beat up but if there is any team that can come back from a 3-1 deficit i would say it has to be the heat.

The truth is both of these teams are full of pretty classy guys.

You haven't followed Labron James if you consider him class???? He is known for his less then 100% at work, yes some nights he does, but sorry I made a statement early on about his last game with Cleavland,,,,,an game 7 championship game,,, and he flat layed down, it was obviously no effort on his part, not just a bad game. I will say when it comes to his ability I have no doubt he is the most talented player, he just has a bad habit of laying down and not giving 100% those are fact's!! Definetly not what I call class, he would never be in my same category as Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, David Robinson, John Stockton, etc, those guy's laid all on the floor every time they came on the court, regardless it takes more than talent to be a class act!! There are several players on the Heat I call way less than the class act if you compare any to the ones I listed. :thumbsup1:

If I were an owner he would not be on my team!! But what do I know.....I would have never fired Mark Jackson either!!

I don't consider classy coming to your finals celebration in a t-shirt with a picture of yourself on the front.  That's classless IMO not to mention arrogant.

It's obvious that you hate Jordan for one reason or another. I don't know if he didn't give you an autograph, slept with your Mom or what, but your disdain is well known. LeBron is the most talented could be argued, but that doesn't make him a champion. He flat out gives up and quits. That makes him a loser in my opinion. Jordan was a horrible teammate???? Why did they all play they guts out for him? The league was weak? I guess you haven't watched the ESPN special about the 84 draft. Also, does any off the court stuff matter when we are talking NBA titles. Bottomline, LeBron isn't a great player.

I know you like to act like you know what you are talking about, but the more you talk about basketball, the more you show that you have no clue.

BTW, this isn't just my opinion, but by everyone in the country talking about LeBron v Jordan.

Having a great draft doesn't make the league stronger. I spoke my opinion and because you don't like it you get your panties all up in a wad and make personal attacks which shows you're an ass which is also "well known".

Nobody liked playing with Jordan and that is pretty much a fact, he was a crybaby and got more calls than anyone in league history. Was he a great player, no question. His drive to win at all costs was probably the highest ever with maybe Larry bird being right there too. Jordan played in a time of weak teams, no true rivalries and no team to challenge the teams he played on. To deny or not take into considersarion the impact of Phil Jackson on Jordan and the bulls teams is also ridiculous. Phil won wherever he went, can't say the same about Jordan.

I have seen every superstar in my lifetime play in person and I can without a doubt say that the player that was the most amazing to see was AI...no way a guy his size should've been able to do what he did on the floor.

And I would bet I know more about basketball than you do but that was never my intention to prove. The fact that you said that's what all the country is talking about shows your inability to think for yourself. I seem to remember the country talking about a lot of things that are sports related and were wrong...

And what if the heat win the series? Then what, it was lucky? Lebron is a different type of player than Jordan and while there have been players like Jordan before and there will be others, there hasn't been a player like lebron when you look at his size and skills.

In my opinion, Lebron is garbage. people place him very high but i still think kobe is the modern day jordan that is playing on the nba today. People say lebron is better than jordan but those people have to be on some serious drugs to compare a king with a bishop.

When you call someone like lebron garbage you have no idea what you are talking about. Sure you may think he is not as good as MJ but to disregard his talent and say garbage is ridiculous. I would also bet you wouldn't be too upset if he was on your team
