Hey all, Anthony Gooch here from San Diego, California. I'm still new to the forums. I've been on the site here and there for quite awhile but had never been on the forums before. I just wanted to take a minute to touch on a new lure that has been an excellent addition to my arsenal this season before I recap on what has been a very productive year for me thus far.

I picked up the new Megabass I-slide185 a few weeks back, and it has been a BIG fish producer for me the past few outings. I've stuck a few solid fish up to 10lbs on it, and have lost a few others that were even larger. I hope to get back out soon and land another DD on it when I find the time!

This bait has an awesome slow S action on it, like a lot of the other high end glide baits, but the price is great retailing around $60. It's sold out pretty much everywhere I've been looking lately, but you can still find a few here and there on eBay and Amazon.

The real kicker is that you can make this bait do a perfect 360 during the retrieve! Definitely one of the first baits I've seen to perfect that action, especially for under $100. If you don't take my word for it, check out this youtube video that demonstrates it's 360 ability at 1:10 into the video.

Here are a couple of the bass that have fallen victim to this bait on a couple of my outings the past month!

Overall 2014 has been a great season for me so far, and hopefully I'm just getting started! Here are a couple more of the larger fish I've managed to land. The goofy picture that looks like I'm yelling is my new PB of 13lbs that I landed on April 19th. It was caught on my NRX dropshot/Shimano Stradic CI4 setup! and needless to say, I was a little stoked! ;)...I'm hoping I will get a chance to one up that PB before the season is over... but regardless; I am more than pleased with my success this year. Never quit chasing the fish you love. Tight lines everyone!!!

Thanks Guys! Speed craw, I edited the post to show the line type and size I used for each of those fish above the pictures.

Hi Salenity, the Megabass I-Slide has only had one production run in Japan so far. It's pretty much sold out in all of the Japanese retailers stores... but check eBay and Amazon; I keep seeing a few here and there popping up for sale on eBay.

lmbfisherman, don't get any wrong ideas... dropshot only catches dinks :wink3:
