How do these threads start again?

I'm am actually pretty curious how much this fish weighed.

You know, I have a scale, and a golden rule. But this fish didn't make it to either of those things, because this fish was bleeding pretty bad.

Anyhow, I thought I'd make this thread to get a chuckle- and to show off a pretty nice bass anyway. My guess is somewhere between 1/2-10 pounds but I could be wrong.

Do you guys think that fish wanted that popper or not?

I'm not really sure.

Anyway. It was fun. Throw popper by solitary log. Pop-pop-pop-pause. Look away to talk to my buddy. Look back- giant swirl, delayed hookset (on purpose of course) and some stripped drag later and there she was.

Nice fish! If I had to guess the weight I would have to guess somewhere under 100 lbs...

If you click the picture, it gets 800x bigger. I promise.

I'll play. I'm guessing 4.5 to 5lbs. Nice bass on topwater. I love it when they hit when you are distracted & not watching the bait.

Based on these new facts previously undisclosed I give it a solid 5lber and not a single digit over.
