This year the Youth BASS Florida state tournament Is at Lake Kissimmee. I don't know much about this lake, my strong suites are frogs, spinnerbaits, worms and spooks. I'm new to tournament fishing and have only fished in three tournaments and I have placed 3rd in two and 2nd in one as well as getting big fish in one , in fact I've only been a serious bass fisherman for about a year and I'm learning something new everyday , I used to be a salt water guy till I was 13 then I went bass fishing with my uncle and that's all she wrote, anyway I will be fishing in the 15-18 division even though I'm 14. I have a feeling the tournament will be won on punching mats. I plan on throwing zoom horny toads in black (cloudy) and bull frog (sunny) I will also be throwing a war eagle spinnerbait (depending on water clarity white w/ sliver willow or chart n white w/ sliver willow) along with those two baits I will be throwing a zoom magnum ol monster worm (depending on weather conditions and water clarity June bug red, plum and water melon red) lastly I want to punch mats with a missile baits d bomb. I know I will have too to stay competitive in the tournament and bring in a good bag. I don't know what colors to use for my d bomb and weight sizes like I said very new to punching and a rookie in bass fishing as a whole, please let me know of those are good bait choices for late June and good color choices also a few tips on punching would be great. Please let me know ASAP, thanks for the read. If you fish lake kissimee a lot and have any tips feel free to reply. My bass fishing experience has been amazing so far, I'm official obsessed with it, I go at least 5 days a week during the school year and everyday during the summer on my home lake, lake Jackson, it's been great learning about the sport and the best part is I still really don't know anything and I have a whole life of fishing in front of me!

pitching and punching are the key Technics. Use dark colors as well as natural colors like your black and blues and your green pumpkins. 1/2 to 2oz depending on the cover. 65 pound braid. jigs and craw baits texas rigged. also use big baits only slow and steady retrieve. buy yourself a broomstick punching rod if you dont have one good luck
