bassmasta07 Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 i purchased the bite lites , the kick tails , and the walking worm. i actually caught fish on all of em. the kick tail is actually pretty sturdy but it does have plastic things holding it together it would probably break after a few hard strikes. the bite lites are kinda cheesy looking but their pretty good for night fishing. the walking worm is kind of a scam because it curls up once and stops completely moving. but most people complain because they do not catch fish in an instant. your only gonna catch a fish on these lures the same rate as all the other lures , its just a concept if you know how to use the lures properly or not. i fish many tournaments a year and i would never use any of these baits in a tournament because i personally do not have any faith in these lures when it comes to serious fishing and i would not recommend these lures for any body to buy. just go out and by some normal lures. just my .03 Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted April 11, 2007 Super User Posted April 11, 2007 the kick tail is actually pretty sturdy but it does have plastic things holding it together it would probably break after a few hard strikes. Really? Just to be obnoxious, I made the Kick-Tail distributor replace two full, three piece sets. My third set has never been used. I keep them in the top shelf of a hard tackle box just to remind myself that I will NEVER buy an infomercial lure again. They produced a few fish, but nothing special. They broke each time. The Kick-Tail is the most poorly built lure I have ever owned. Durability consisted of one or two strikes. I HIGHLY DISCOURAGE anyone from buying this lure. The entire promotion is a scam. Quote
Mattlures Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 I agree with RW. The sad thing is the design is good Quote
Super User .ghoti. Posted April 12, 2007 Super User Posted April 12, 2007 RW, I was gonna yank yer chain a bit for buying a whole kit of those things. Them I remembered, I bought helicopter lures, flying lures, banjo minnows, etc. I guess it's true that a lot of lures are designed primarily to catch fishermen. Cheers, GK Quote

What if he's only saying this because he doesn't want the secret to get out? RW has found the magic lure and he doesn't want to share. RW, how could you? I bet he doesn't even use Shimano! He's probably a Pflueger guy and just says all that pro-Shimano stuff to throw us all off! I even heard he is a tournament angler Uhhhh........NOT Quote

bassman00012 Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 I bough this lure and wasted 6.97 on shipping. A TOTAL waste. Quote
