THEbassmaster Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 slarose, dont feel dumb, i dont know what they are either. aaron Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted April 11, 2007 Super User Posted April 11, 2007 They are just a 4-8" Trout profile swimbait that comes in a very wide variety of colors(tw only caries a couple colors though). I personally DO NOT like them. They are poorly built, ugly, and as infidel pointed out, they smell HORRIBLE! At that price there are much better baits in my opinion. Quote
slarose20 Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 Thanks so much for all your help Fourbizzle. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted April 12, 2007 Super User Posted April 12, 2007 Looks like a cross betweeen a Castaic Plat and a Hud. Quote
mike bat Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 if you want a trout profile swimbait ,,, IMO spend a few extra bucks and get a hud or a mattlure ..... im not 100 but i believe the 6inch mattlure trout is 12 bucks .... i use his baby bass series ,,, perch and baby bass .... but i also have a few 6inch perch that where made from a trout mold ..... these baits catch fish ..... matts an outstanding guy that makes a killer bait ;D Quote
Lard_Bass Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 What kind of rod setup do you guys use for these lures? They look big and heavy. Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted April 12, 2007 Super User Posted April 12, 2007 I use the Shimano Crucial 7'11" H Swimbait rod, Okuma Guide Select 7'6" XH Big Bait Rod, and Okuma Guide Select 7'6" H Big Bait Rod. With either a Calcutta 400, or Cardiff 400. 25lb Mono. Quote
