Shanes7614 Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Why is no one saying Senko ? There are plenty of stick baits on the list... Maybe guys just realizing you don't HAVE to pay twice the money when there are plenty of alternatives out there now. Quote
Super User RoLo Posted July 6, 2015 Super User Posted July 6, 2015 I never met a plastic worm I didn't like. If this thread lasts long enough, it will comprise a list of every plastic worm ever manufactured Roger 3 Quote
Super User RoLo Posted July 7, 2015 Super User Posted July 7, 2015 six inch Jelly Worm . I'll bet you remember the worm parade. It began with the Creme Scoundrel (complete with red beads & propeller), moved to Manns Jelly Worm & Culprit Ribbontail; then plastic worms came out of the barrel like pellets: Twister Thunderworm, Manns Mannipulator, Gillraker Worm, Producto Worm, Mister Twister Phenom, Manns Augertail, Rebel Ringworm, Bass Pro Tripple Ripple ~ ~ ~ Roger Quote
Super User Master Bait'r Posted July 7, 2015 Super User Posted July 7, 2015 I really like Uptons Dragontails. They're like bigger Roboworms with awesome colors and I love that little spade tail. My favorite colors are Hershey Blue, Diamond Craw and Ayu. They smell like candy too which is nice over that fake garlic abomination smell. Quote

I like using my old lures, knowing I'm probably the only person on the lake throwing it . Fliptail worms are another . Id like to find a pack of lime green fliptails . Quote

Super User WRB Posted July 8, 2015 Super User Posted July 8, 2015 Upton's Customs, Josh makes excellent big worms now available at TW in most sizes and colors. I use his straight tails in both 9" & 13" in Aaron's Trajic, Black grape-blue neon, Hersey-blue neon and purple thunder. Tom Quote
FrogFreak Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 How about protourbaits.com. They make some nice ribbon tail worms and you can buy in bulk which is nice. Quote
S. Sass Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 I find just about any dark purple worm works awesome for me. 5",6",7",8", or 10" Texas rigged all work great. Creme Scoundrel 8" in 36-Purple has been my favorite since i was a kid. Quote

Primus Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Why is no one saying Senko ? For a salted stickworm the Senko is still the best in my opinion so there I said it . My choice for a ribbon tail worm would be the 10" Kriet Tail by Big Bite bait, replaced the Power Worm as my go to . When I want a small salted straight tail the Zoom Trick worm is my favorite in that category . Big Shaky head would be the X cite Maximus. Small Shaky head would be custom poured stickbaits that I got from with no salt , though I'm starting to throw the Hag's Tornado which floats up nice . For swimming through shallow grass I like the Cut R worm by Strike King and when I want need a bigger profile my choice is the Gambler Burner worm . Quote
