Tugmaster Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 This year I've been doing real well on a 7" Zoom trick worm in Black Grape. Fishing it T-rigged with no weight. Todd Quote

FrogFreak Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Berkley Power Worm. Usually watermelon or some other natural color. Purple hues work very well. Honorable mention to the Lake Fork ribbed worms (ribbon tail). Not sure what the color is but it's kinda green. I caught a 5 pounder last year and several good fish already this year on the Lake Fork worm. Quote
drodriguez Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 For me, there is no one size fits all worm. I do keep a ton of black Yamamoto senkos and watermelon red flake yum dingers. I also like keeping ex money zman stickbaits for shakeyhead applications. Ultimately, it depends on what mood the bass are in. Quote
MichaelE Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 7.5 inch Culrpit worm in red shad color. Never found a worm that will out fish it Quote

LApanic Posted June 10, 2014 Author Posted June 10, 2014 Zoom trick worm in bruised banana! After looking and not finding these online, I bumped into a pack on sale for 2.49 at Academy Quote
MrBigFishSC Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 Zoom trick worm- bubble gum Senko- martigras You got it right...mardi gras or candy craw. These catch more fish for me in any style and size than anything else. Stick, trick, or creature. Candy craw dreamshots are my go to drop shot bait. Bubble gum trick worms seem to work best for me in clearer water when they aren't biting mardi gras. Quote
Super User iceintheveins Posted July 6, 2015 Super User Posted July 6, 2015 My favorite all around worm is a 6" curltail worm in green pumpkin or black blue. Quote
jtharris3 Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Berkley Power worm, 7" Electric Grape or Mann's Augertail worm, 8" also in Electric Grape. Quote
Shanes7614 Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 This might have been asked before on the forum, but let's here what you got. For me, time and time again....I catch more fish and have more confidence in a Zoom Magnum Ultravibe Speed Worm. Is it just me or is this worm overlooked as one of the best fish catchers there is? I love a green pumpkin, California 420 & Junebug Red with the tail dipped in Spike-it 90 % of the time. Let's here your go to plastic...I mean the one you find yourself picking up a bag or two every time your at the tackle store. And give a shout out if your a big U-Vibe fan like myself! Mag uvibe fan also... Junebug for me though. Use them whacky also when they get beat up. Just cut off the tail and a little of hook worn head and you have a 6" stick bait. Quote

Global Moderator Mike L Posted July 6, 2015 Global Moderator Posted July 6, 2015 Mine is quickly becoming the Rage Tail Cut R worm. I can fish it like a senko, or swim it thanks to the tail. And if the tail comes off, I can still fish it like a senko. I haven't tried rage-rigging, texas rigging, or carolina rigging it yet, but I'm sure it will be great for those applications too. The Cut R has become my go to search bait in scattered grass areas. Honey Candy and June bug, Love that thing. Arv, The thing about the Cut R is If you rig it with the tail rudder up or down it will change it's action. It will make the tail ride up more or with a downward curve, No matter if you swim it during a steady retrieve, Wacky Rigged and more importantly on a Carolina rig. Try it Mike Quote
