ShimanoDobynsGuy Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 I feel your pain I have fished for around 100hrs and have caught all of 3 fish. And those were dinks. I've tried everything but night fishing and finesse so I guess this weekend I will throw shaky head and drop shot allot. I'm baffled by my poor fishing this year.. But the way I look at a 100hrs fishing is better then 100hrs of work.. Quote
USMCKoontz Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 I cant answer this for bassing, since I havent Bass Fished for that long. However I have fished all night catfishing without catching one. Although that is with sonme buddies also, and usually one of us will at least catch something. Quote
IronBass Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Night fishing pretty fun. Some of my best catches have happened after midnight Quote
greentrout Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Even the Pros have days when they don't catch anything or even get a strike. That's bass fishing. Mix your presentations up. Change lures often if need be. Downsize to small lures and light lines. Don't be embarrassed to pull out a Beetle Spin or Road Runner. Try a four inch worm. 1/8 ounce spinnerbait and so. Still, you can come up empty. Go get 'em the next time. Good fishing. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted June 4, 2014 Super User Posted June 4, 2014 One good thing about Florida, there is always a good bite going on someplace. I don't go to long without catching fish but that statement has to be qualified. In the winter bass are very easy to catch here, but I can go quite a while without a saltwater strike. In the warmer months like now I'm not catching many bass, but I am catching some peacocks and doing fine in saltwater. Quote
OroBass Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 I can't remember the last time I Fished for more than 4 hours without catching something. Quote
