Hey guys,

After having issues with the mounting of my Elite 4 HDI transducer on my Jackson Cuda 12, I finally found a solution that works..for now. It wasn't my idea since I found it online, but it worked out really well and just thought I'd share with you all.

Since there is already an existing skid plate, I just had to fabricate a bracket to mount to the skid plate and transducer. Then I got the chance to try it out on the water yesterday and it seems to work and hold up. It's the easiest and most convenient solution I could come up with for now so we will see how it holds up over time. Let me know what you guys think.

Here is also another project I got done over the weekend. Kayak crate that doubles as a cart as well!

Looks good...careful with that corner edge of the bracket.  Looks like it angles just a tad below the skid plate.  Even if it doesnt, it could catch on something and bend or really scratch the bed of your truck or side of your car.  Maybe just bend the corner in against itself?
