Which sponsors or sites offer discounts to users here.I want to know also does bass tackle depot offer a discount.It says on the sponsor link that some sites do but dont name them.

Delaware Valley tackle does, others usually have sales that you can use a code to get a better deal.

Well one email could be sent to the few tackle sponsors here. Not too hard if you're looking for a discount just for being a member. Or you could wait for days for replies.

Discounts are nice,but if people are joining forums just for discounts I think it's taking advantage of it.  :-/ Kinda shady how many times people are asking for discounts around here.

When discounts come,let them come on their own time.

I didn't join the forums to get discounts.I didn't even know they had discounts here when I signed up few years ago.I don't think its shady for people who are money strapped like me working part time at walmart making 300 bucks for 2 weeks work to save little money as possible.I just wish walmart sold rod cases I would buy 1 there since I get a 10 percent discount there.They sell rod holders but not sleeves.Rod holders are more expensive than rod sleeves.I have been a member here since july of 2005.Long time lol.

I try to support those that support the site. Usually their prices are so close, code or not, it's not worth the extra work for me.. 8-)

Well I wasn't being lazy or anything.I figured since it was a weekend that it would take a few days to get a response from them but I was going to fire a email to them at some point.Its been in my experience that it takes awhile to get a response from tackle sites and faster here so thats why.

Not sure why everyone here is giving the guy a hard time. Some sites offer discounts, some don't. He's not sitting here saying every sponsor should offer a discount or something, and he didn't just join yesterday, so what's the big deal about asking other guys on a forum which offer discounts?

Kris you don't have to explain yourself for wanting the codes or even why you didn't email them individually, because I'm sure there are others including myself that would like to know which of them do offer codes.

I agree, Skunked. This is a public discussion forum. Making a thread lets everybody know what the deal is, and might push some business towards this board's sponsors.

Well all 12 dont offer what I am looking for.Few of them sell there own name brand stuff.I can get the JJ Magic at walmart now which is cool cause that wasnt the case awhile back.

Yeah I guess some areas its been a long winter.Spring is in full bloom right now.I casted next to the shore of a pond and I caught a 2 and  a half bass that was fanning a bed cause her tell was torn up.I dont think I have ever caught a fish with bleeding tail.It was weird for sure.She had eggs still it in her look like.Just let ya'll she is still in the pond for me to catch next time.So I guess the only discount site is Delaware reel service which I already knew about that one.I was just wondering which one's had them or if there were one that was given out recently that I didn't see in a thread since sometimes the sponsor are kind enough to do so.Times are rough these days.

Still over a foot of snow here, and over 2' of ice on the lakes... was 7 degrees this morning when I went out to the shop at 5am... its getting old quick! Last year at this time we had no snow and open water on some lakes
