Super User Master Bait'r Posted June 2, 2014 Super User Posted June 2, 2014 That's to save time if you'd like to rob a convenience store on the way home to pay for gas/plastics/terminal/lures lost over the course of the day Quote
Super User BassinLou Posted June 2, 2014 Super User Posted June 2, 2014 I understood why when I went down fishing at Miami FL last week. The sun down there is no slouch, and Sunscreen just doesn't cut it. Yeah, the sun and heat down here are not forgiving. Wearing quality sun gear from head to toe, will definitely make your fishing experience more bearable. Quote
Super User tcbass Posted June 2, 2014 Author Super User Posted June 2, 2014 So what are all the brands brad people here have experience with? I have been interested in some of this stuff. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted June 2, 2014 Super User Posted June 2, 2014 Buff & Columbia are the two brands I wear. My experience with them has been very good. There are many more brands but these work for me. A-Jay http://www.buffusa.com/sports/collections/filter/men http://www.columbia.com/Omni-Shade/Technology_Omni-Shade,default,pg.html Quote

Zach Dunham Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 Simple answer: comfort. It is much cooler with skin covered by breathable, yet UV resistant, fabric. I hate having any oily or greasy feeling on my skin. Also, if I put sunscreen on my face I still break out even as an adult. The only place I use sunscreen is my legs if I am wearing shorts. Quote

The Commodore Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 I like Columbia stuff but find myself wearing my Under Amrour shirts more. They make a fishing line and I got both of them on clearance. They were normally $80 but I got them for half that. Oh and sunscreen sucks. Quote
