cjam93 Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 I almost always have a wacky rig tied on for following up short strikes, or just whenever I get the urge to throw one. That can mean going through quite a lot of worms in a day though. So I was just wondering if there is anywhere online senkos can be purchased in bulk, or at least larger quantities than 10 a bag.? PersicoTrotaVA Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 I have found the Yum Yumdingers to be a good sub for GYCB Senkos. About 2 dollars cheaper on a pack. The SK KVD Ochco is another good substitute as well. Quote
cjam93 Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 I didnt realize tw had those I must have missed them thanks! Ill also check out those other worms to see how they are, thanks again! Quote
DBL000006 Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 I'd go with, tackle warehouse. Big bite bites, has some pretty good Stick os Quote
Comfortably Numb Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Yum Dingers or BPS Stick-o's are a cheaper substitute and you get more bass per bait as they are not as weak. Quote

cjam93 Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 So I went by DSG today and I found some ochos and some yum dingers. I have never used either but I really like the looks of them. I am going out this coming weekend and cannot wait to try them! The ocho looks awesome! Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted June 1, 2014 Super User Posted June 1, 2014 Hmm... Been fishing this weekend so I just saw the post. You asked about bulk Senko. The knock-offs are NOT the same. Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted June 1, 2014 Super User Posted June 1, 2014 RW is right. I use a lot of knock-offs-primarily BPS Stick-Os. They work well most of the time, but they are not the same quality as the original. The TW bulk price is as good as I've seen lately. Quote

BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted June 2, 2014 BassResource.com Administrator Posted June 2, 2014 What would you say is the difference in them? Just how well they catch fish or is there something else to them as well? There's lot's and LOT'S of threads on this forum about the knockoffs and how they compare to the original. Hubtech Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Well, I hit a local lake today with zero 0 luck with my senko's. Swapped to an Ocho, and SLAUGHTERED them. ok, maybe that's a touch dramatic, but 15 fish from 1-4 lbs in an hour and a half was super fun. they didn't like wacky rig, good ole weedless is all they wanted. 1 Quote
Fish Murderer 71 Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Big Bite Baits have become my new goto... they seem to be working better than GYB- AND THEY FALL OFF JUST AS FAST! 1 Quote

Super User QUAKEnSHAKE Posted June 19, 2014 Super User Posted June 19, 2014 I got 8 packs BAMA BUG senkos for $5.83 a pack at DSG about a week ago if they had more I would have bought more.. Quote
BigBassLoveSenkos Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 I was tearing thru bags of senkos too. After every catch I had to replace the worm. Some days I would go thru 3+ bags of 5 inchers. That's over $20 of plastic. The guy at the local store put me onto this ----> Maaaaaaaaaannnnnnnn. It's called an O-wacky tool and it simply slips an O ring onto the senko, eliminating the need for the hook to pierce the senko. In other words, I can reuse senkos now! After somewhere between 5 and 10 catches the senko will start looking rough. I've been swapping out for a new one after 4-5 catches. Still, I'm now spending 400-500% less on senkos, with absolutely zero impact on the senko magic. Here's what the senko looks like rigged ----> Hope this helps some of yall Quote

Stopped using it after I lost 3 Senkos on casts. I switched to using 3/8 shrink tube from what I learned on here and that's worked better. Quote
