Daiwa Procyon 7'6" heavy, the blanks on them are very good for the price, I received a spinning rod as a Christmas present 2 years ago and I was going to send it back and apply it to a different rod but I tried it out and I decided to keep it, not a bad rod at all and a 5 year warranty for a rod under $100 is unheard of.

Abu Veracity verc79-7.  I just bought one this spring.  Get it from Ron at Valley Sports and he will get real close to your budget.

An *** is probably one of the more sensitive rods in the 100 or less range, but I suggest you hold one before you buy. Some people do not like the rear grip on them.

If you get a st Croix rod, keep in mind that their heavy rods are broom sticks, so a my might be a better purchase.
