DBL000006 Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 I'm looking for a good flipping rod for under $100. Quote
livetofish28 Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 you might be able to find an Abu Garcia Veritas for about 80 bucks in heavy action Tight lines Andrew Quote
Super User smalljaw67 Posted June 1, 2014 Super User Posted June 1, 2014 Daiwa Procyon 7'6" heavy, the blanks on them are very good for the price, I received a spinning rod as a Christmas present 2 years ago and I was going to send it back and apply it to a different rod but I tried it out and I decided to keep it, not a bad rod at all and a 5 year warranty for a rod under $100 is unheard of. BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted June 1, 2014 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted June 1, 2014 Abu Veracity verc79-7. I just bought one this spring. Get it from Ron at Valley Sports and he will get real close to your budget. Quote
mjseverson24 Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 mojo, ***, bucoo micro... these would be the top on my list for the 100 dollar flippin sticks... Mitch Quote
Gaerith Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 An *** is probably one of the more sensitive rods in the 100 or less range, but I suggest you hold one before you buy. Some people do not like the rear grip on them. If you get a st Croix rod, keep in mind that their heavy rods are broom sticks, so a my might be a better purchase. Quote
