Ron with valley sports has some good reels for a great price. I just ordered a diawa tatula from him, PM him and see what he has for you!

BPS Pro Qualifier and it's on sale now. Great reel in that price range, heck even better than some that cost a lot more.

BPS PQ, Lew's Speed Spool, Lew's Lazer Speed Spool

Academy Mettle is a fine reel. They sometime go on sale for $25-35. Father's Day might be a good bet. Otherwise BPS Pro Qualifier on sale is another good one.

The Pro Qualifier has proven to be a very good value (esp at $80 on sale) for me and several others on this site. I have 4, three of which have many miles on them, all without a hiccup. The Tatula is a very nice reel, and if it can be had for $100 or near it would also be an excellent choice.

Bps pq gets the nod for under $100 and the tatula for $100 even.

BPS Extreme.  The Pro Qualifier is good too but not nearly as nice as the Extreme.

I was beginning to think I was the only one who liked the BPS Extreme. Better than the PQ? I don't know but the Extreme I have is one of my favourite reels.

skeet reese victory reel can be had for pretty reasonable price, and it is a pretty good reel... otherwise the tatula is a great choice or the T3-B...
