What kind of trouble are you having? Getting it on the trailer? Getting the trailer the right depth is important. For most boats, back the trailer in so the bunks get totally wet, then pull out so that only a couple of inches of the top of the wheel fenders are out of the water. You might have to experiment to find the right depth for your rig. Drive the boat all the way on until the bow touches the front roller. Hook on, tighten the winch, and pull out.

Sweet tow vehicle. Love those old caddies. Aluminum a can be a pain. I dip the bunks half way under water. Drive the boat on gently. It should right itself. Hook up and crank on. If it's hard to crank, back down the ramp a bit. When you learn the sweet spot, it'll go easier, and you'll be able to drive right on.

It takes a few times to learn that sweet spot. My first few times I must have looked like a clown trying to load it myself! Just keep at it.

The beast pulls this one rite up and out. But the fishing boat gives me trouble every time.

Am I the only one thinking the OP just messing with you guys? Or are you guys being sarcastic and going  along with it?

I've seen plenty of people who have trouble getting their boat on the trailer properly and tie up ramps much longer than should be necessary. I know lots of guys who post here have seen more than their share too. Did not occur to me that he would waste time posting this just to mess with us.

After post #6 I'm starting to wonder...

Naw. That Caddy got some stautory rape rims (cause they under 18s) on it. ROFL!

Go stick some 26in Thangs on that Caddy. Better yet put some 20in. 100 spoke platinum Dayton's on that sweet Caddy. You will be the talk of the ramp, when you come up there, roller skatin on some twenty inch tires with them platinum Daytons. Put four Hi/Lo pumps in the trunk. Back her on up and hit them switches. Jack the back end and back on up. She will get more than enough depth to load the boat. Just don't try an make her jump with the trailer attached.
