CalBassin Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Hey guys!! I just wanna say this site is absolutely awesome!! On a whole different topic... I just have a few questions about jigs! I use the almighty SiebertOutdoors jigs but I've been coming up short lately :cry3:So what jig trailers do you guys use the most? And with that trailer what technique do you use? ...I'd be so honored if Gene replied to this as well. THANKS EVERYONE!! LOVE THE SITE! Quote
jignfule Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 I use zoom's "fat albert twin tails" most of the time on a swim jig. Quote

MemphisFF Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Long read but very informative.. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/12403-jig-fishing-questions/# 1 Quote
Super User Catch and Grease Posted May 29, 2014 Super User Posted May 29, 2014 The jig has way more to do with how you fish it than the trailer, in general the lower the visibility the bigger trailer I use and I want one that moves a lot of water, and in clearer water you can downsize and make it look more natural and sight friendly... Super User Gatorbassman Posted May 30, 2014 Super User Posted May 30, 2014 First of all welcome to BassResource. I only use a few different trailers on jigs. The Rage Chunk in the winter and early spring or when using a living rubber only jig. The Rage Craw when using a living rubber jig with silicon skirt added, and a Zoom Speed Craw when I'm out or Rage Tail stuff. 2 Quote
