Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted May 29, 2014 Super User Posted May 29, 2014 Not really my cup of tea. Ive never been a huge fan of acoustic. Your wife however has a AMAZING voice. I actually listened to the whole song. She is VERY talented. At least to my ear she is. Now to go share this with my old lady. I think she will like it too. Quote
tipptruck1 Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 I am with Raider on the acoustic part. I also agree that you wife has a great voice. In todays world were are so use to autotune and computers. I guess that is why I hate todays music. It is nice to hear a real voice singing. Quote
Super User Dwight Hottle Posted May 29, 2014 Super User Posted May 29, 2014 I liked it Jeff. Very nice. Quote

tholmes Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Very nice! Your wife does have an outstanding voice. Are both of you left-handed players? Oh, I'm VERY envious of that Olson. Tom Quote

Tom No we recorded in Mac Photo Booth & for some reason it mirrored our image. Don't know why. Would be unique though if we were both lefties. Yes that Olson is my prized possession even as a bass player. Short story, that Olson was actually made for Johnny Cash in 1983. James Olson was never allowed backstage at 2 concerts to give Cash the guitar so it sat in his workshop for a year until my dad got asked to come by & check out his guitars. My dad played a few but ultimately was drawn to the Black Olson with off white Ivory binding hanging on the wall. James told my dad the story, my dad then asked if Olson would sell it, Olson agreed to sell it for a whopping $600. HAHA. A few years later Cash wrote Olson stating he had been informed that Olson had a guitar for him. Olson told him that he had sold it to a Gospel singer (my dad), Cash wrote back stating he was glad my dad had the guitar because my dad was his & Junes favorite gospel artist. A few years ago my dad gave me the guitar & the letters between Cash & Olson. From my cold dead hands it will have to be pried away. Ha 2 Quote
