Pz3 Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Agree. Just missed two big ones. Should of set the hook harder. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted May 29, 2014 Super User Posted May 29, 2014 I haven't seen a peacock in 3 days, last week I was catching them every day. Quote
0119 Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Its been a great year but when we hit 95 each day last week, the bite fizzled. Quote
jamesbrownsplit Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Yeah, I haven't done so well this last week and a half or so with LMB. Then again, I'm trying new things. Quote
Super User geo g Posted May 29, 2014 Super User Posted May 29, 2014 Yes it has been a great year down here. Monday killed them on the Alley, none stop action. Quote
Pz3 Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Try at night. Fishing really fast and they have been chasing. Quote
0119 Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Yeah, I haven't done so well this last week and a half or so with LMB. Then again, I'm trying new things. Smart thing to do, try new techniques. Especially when things get slow. I'd like to do more night fishing but the gators are so thick anymore they wont leave a lure alone. Getting more annoying than mosquito's. 1 Quote
Big239Fish Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Right before the daily rains I've been doin well on SLOWLY worked poppers, and then right after the frog bite picks up pretty good. That's here in naples, idk about everywhere else Quote

Arbesu441 Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 Been fishing here in Clearwater area before and after the rain working a bone white super spook and horny toads over grass and killing them. Went for 2 hours yesterday and caught 20 fish. Most in the 2 to 3 pound range with one big dude at 6 1/2. Quote
