I thought this would be a interesting, fun idea:

I give you a photo of a spot and i give you the current conditions.

You are given five random baits that you must pick from to use.

Some of the baits may be difficult to use during given conditions or new to you.

You choose a bait, explain your reasoning, and how would you work it (speed, etc.)

The spot

Conditions: lightly overcast, 80+ degrees, warm water 60+ degrees, spawning bass, shallow water, lots of structure, no wind, evening

2. Terminator Pro Series Jig 3/8 oz, Green pumpkin color w/ Ragetail craw 0000000073911.jpg10064425.jpg?is=250,250

3. Berkley Powerbait Crazy Legs Lizard 6" Watermelon Red Color joGR6pW.jpg

4. Booyah Blade Double Willow Spinnerbait, Bleeding shad color BYBW38643.jpg

5. Lunker hunt Lunker frog, Poison color 0000000201811.jpg

Choose wisely! I look forward to see what you guys come up with!

Jig - because that's what I fish everywhere

Frog - because there's lots of veggies

I'll take the Chug n' Spook and cast it in the open pockets in the weeds and along the edge of the weed line. I'd Work slow with a lot of twitching and shaking in place. Why? Because I love fishing topwater in the evening and especially with zero wind. I like your idea for this thread. You should post some more locations periodically.

Jig or lizard. If the bass are spawning and locked in the beds they arnt going to be phased to much by a topwater 4 feet above their head so getting as bait in the sweet spot will be imperative. At least that's what I'd do

Tight lines

True! They'd grab that lizard if it were to crawl across their bed

Interesting! And yes I will probably do another soon, maybe tommorow, with a new spot and random lures. Thanks

Well, if I fished beds, I would probably throw the lizard. I think out of all those baits the lizard would be most productive for bedding bass. However, since I don't fish beds, I'll take the frog and see if I can get some males to hit it.

Exactly what I would do.

SPRO Bronze Eye Frog

Missile Baits D-Bomb in California Delta color.Texas Rig with 3/8 EcoPro Tungsten bullet weight.

Jig with Rage Craw

--------------------------------

Why Spro Frog? I love fishing frogs and walk it to towards the lily pads then twitch it onto the water surface then BAM.

Why Missile Baits D-Bomb? I love using D-Bombs in general. They are my top baits in my gear bag. Seems the fish here cant resist the bombs. Flip or Pitch in the grass. Twitch it, let it fall. Repeat.

Why Jig with rage craw? Flip or Pitch the jig. Imitates craw. Twitch it, Reel, fall, Twitch it. Repeat. Rage craw is amazing. Durable plastic.

i'll take 3. the lizard. (though i wouldve made the lizard #4 on purpose, just because #4 was the lizard in the classic kung fu movie Five Deadly Venoms lol)

id use the lizards because its an effective bait for bedding bass. plus i love to fish lizards, weightless. the picture and time of day says topwater to me, but the spawning bass say lizard all the way.

Yes exactly my thinking

I will take the jig with the craw trailer, and I will fish it around the open spots and in and out of the Lilly-pads and look for spawning beds till I got a solid pattern down.

6) My finger because catching bass during spawn is as easy as fishing with dynamite.

Jig because I love those, and lizard because I love throwing lizards into spawning beds because I cant seem to get a bite any other time
