Pflueger President and Abu Garcia Orra s are great spinning reels for the money...

Shimano Sahara, or Symetre  Are awful hard to beat for near the same money,,,,the Symetre has long been called the poor mans Stradic, a very nice reel for the price,,,,, :thumbsup1:

I own 2 okuma trio high speed spinng reels. These reels are amazingly smooth and can handle 30 pound kings. (From personal experience) you can get the reel for 55$ on walmart online, that's where I got it from. You should definetly keep this reel on your list.

Pflueger hands down, best there is. President or purist you should have a great reel either way.

Daiwa Exceller in the $60.00 range is decent as well as above mentioned.

Check out the offerings from lews very nice and smooth

My fav reel in that price point however is the Shimano Symetre

Keep an eye on our Flea Market. A "gently used" Symetre should cost around $75.
