I'm loving me some Cut R worms, and as warmer weather approaches im looking to go to a bigger worm. I see Rage makes 3 kinds, Anaconda, Thumper, and ReCon

I am leaning Anaconda, i was wondering does anyone dye the massive tails on these things? Or dye a part of tail? Or just chunk it like it is.

I been reading on here about the other worms too feel free to weigh in on ur thoughts about the Anaconda or other worms too. Thanks!

Don't know about rage but as far as big worms go Zoom and Gambler have 13" ribbon tails. I also like the mag trick worm but it is just thicker than the std not any longer so I go to Gambler ledge worms they come in 9, 11 and 13"....Good stuff.

I like and use all three of the big Rage worms, and feel like they each have a time and a place. I have used the Anaconda a lot on a Rage Rig and weightless in the shallow grass and pads. It's also great on a weighted Tx rig. Oh, and yes, I use chartreuse on the tail all the time. My favorite, and one that I've caught some of my biggest fish on, is the Recon. Never found a worm that catches more big fish than this one. I do love the Thumper when fishing muddy water, or at night. Probably the best worm on the market for that stuff. For swimming, I like the Cut'R, and am waiting for the big 10" version to come out.

The Cut R worm on a shakey head has gotten me hooked on the Rage Tail worms

Most of my lakes are rocky areas, some mud banks. I am just trying to not overwhelm myself either with to many BIG worm options. Even though all three of them look killer :)

Rage Tail Thumper=MONEY. There are some days when my 7" RT Thumper does not reach the bottom of the lake, the bass just inhale it and keep swimming.  This is my favorite mid sized worm of all time.  I have not tried the 10" yet, think it might be too big for most of the areas I fish, but I'm gonna give it a try this summer anyway.

I got a couple of anacondas but have not caught one on it yet.

The two main lakes we fish,  the fish really never get too deep. id say 10-20 range on our lakes would be considered deep.

I know whats going to happen i will probably end up buying all 3... lol

The recon and 7in thumper are my favorite so far in regards to worms. I have some anaconda and 10in thumpers but just haven't been out much yet to catch anything on them yet.

Im down in south Florida and lemme tell you, the rage anaconda is a warm water big bass killer. I've had some amazing catches over the years with this worm. I usually use the 10" most of the time. Tx rigged 5/0 straight shank with 1/4oz sk weight. Usually i peg the sinker feel the bottom and the bites better. Love the double header Colors just awesome!! 7pounders from lake okee to rock pit lakes in my areA they just smoke it have to be careful cause they usually eat it deep. Get a pack and give em a try. If you use them on a straight shank use a toothpick through the eye and snip off the ends keeps the worm on and stops the worm from sliding down the shank causing missed fish and snagging. Good luck

I like the Rage plastics just the way they come...Soft, Heavy, and adding the coffee scent was such a good idea, the car smells like Starbucks after a day of using rage plastics...Better than Garlic however I do like the Gambler and Bang scented baits as well....The Cut'r worm is the only worm I have not jumped on board with since I like to simply cut a power worm into a cut tail, but The Anaconda is my favorite big Summer worm, and the Rage Thumper is a great bait for flipping or swimming....The small KVD 4" finesse worms are great as well, you can cast them easily on casting gear and a small hook without weight, same with the caffeine shad which I would argue is the best fluke on the market for gliding & weight.

The Shellcracker is a killer bait here in Florida right now, the bluegills are all about the exact same size, and they make some nice colors and it is a fantastic punch bait or pitching bait for fishing docks etc....Strike King really has a great line up of soft baits, I still love the Rodents, but the Rage Bugs, Menace, and Rage Toads are pretty tough to beat.

Thumper is my favorite for ledge fishing. The Cut-R has been one of

my most productive Rage Tail baits. Give this a try as a trailer on a

skirtless Rage Blade, too.

I have a Red Shad Anaconda worm tied on from spring to fall at all times without weight and if I need some added weight I simply put on a split shot or crimp a weight to my hook. I have done better with this worm by simply casting it out and letting it sit for at least a minute, lift it and let it sit....If fish are in the area they will grab it and most fish on the Anaconda are quality.

I would be lost without the Shellcracker, I used to use the Bass Pro CLone shads but the tail on the rage is better and right now that is the perfect size bait for all the panfish in the water, and the Menace is possibly the best trailer out there rigged flat or sideways...

I just picked up some CUt'R worms at Dicks on sale for $3.00 and I could not find any swim Senko's so I figure these should do the job since I did not like the look of the Swim n DInger like I thought I would...Seems more finesse and thin, I figure the Cut'r should tear em up this weekend above and through weeds, I took em out back to see how they look in the water and they come though weeds nicely, and also have a nice Junebug color.
