Super User F14A-B Posted July 2, 2014 Super User Posted July 2, 2014 I asked about them at BPS again this past Sat. Those guys.... Should work elsewhere, one guy took me to a rage rod, I said no, rage bug, he's like this is the only rage we have! I thank him and go find my good buddy, after awhile I see him he seems to think maybe by Christmas they might have them.... Ok I will just wait... I am not in a terrible need for them, I have other rage products. I can't figure BPS Out.... Oh well I am a little jealous you guys got them! Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted July 2, 2014 Super User Posted July 2, 2014 Alone, check Siebert Outdoors. http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/Rage-Tail-Structure-Bug-104.htm Pretty sure he still has some! Jeff 1 Quote
Super User F14A-B Posted July 2, 2014 Super User Posted July 2, 2014 Thanks 00 mod.. I appreciate it 1 Quote
David D. Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I have PB&J and Summer Craw and I haven't caught one with them yet and I've had em for at least a month I haven't gone a single trip since I received mine that I haven't caught a fish on one. Maybe it's a confidence thing. Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted July 2, 2014 Super User Posted July 2, 2014 I just toss it into lay downs. Gets hit on the fall. Also have had hits just swimming it back for another cast. Quote
Super User MarkH024 Posted July 2, 2014 Super User Posted July 2, 2014 I used it for punching slop and as a jig trailer on my last outing with results on both applications. Great action just like all the Rage Tail stuff. Appendages did seem to be a little weaker than most of the Rage Tail products i've used but still a great bait. Quote

No question there. Don't expect to have both 'arms' after a half-dozen casts. Fortunately, the tails usually make it through a few fish before losing one, but every once in a while a short strike (or bluegill?) will take one off. Quote
dam0007 Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I had pre ordered a bunch of bags from TW right before Siebert posted >< really looking forward to these. Luck this year with pit boss Jr's, is in the tank, been doing good with Gambler's Little Otter. Quote
MemphisFF Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I caught a few on the bug yesterday they do work my only complaint I have is these Kentucky lake bass just tear them up... If that's a complaint.. I rigged it up on a strike king knuckle head... Quote
WdyCrankbait Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Got mine in the mail today from Siebert! Some were backordered, but I don't need that color right now. Can't wait to find out on my own how they do here in Central VA!!! 2 Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted July 7, 2014 Author Posted July 7, 2014 Got mine in the mail today from Siebert! Some were backordered, but I don't need that color right now. Can't wait to find out on my own how they do here in Central VA!!! Yeah, I'm still waiting on the Green Pumpkins. Its killing me not having them. I hope I do soon. Its one of the most popular colors. Once I get them you will be #1 on the list to get them. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted July 7, 2014 Super User Posted July 7, 2014 Actually, I think I should be the only guy fishing Green Pumpkin. Actually, the Bama Craw has been my most effective color. Quote
Super User Shane J Posted July 7, 2014 Super User Posted July 7, 2014 I won't go fishing without Green Pumpkin, but I could not fathom life, without Blue Craw. 2 Quote
WdyCrankbait Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Yep, I have the Blue Craw and Green Pumpkin are on the way. I have a tournament coming up next month on the Potomac that I am saving these for. But, I have a feeling a majority of mine will be used before hand and I will need to place another order with Siebert. 3 Quote
Zach P Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 I had pre ordered a bunch of bags from TW right before Siebert posted >< really looking forward to these. Luck this year with pit boss Jr's, is in the tank, been doing good with Gambler's Little Otter. As much as I love the new bug I can't say enough good things about the Gambler Little Otter and Ugly Otter. These have flat out caught a ton of fish for me. 1 Quote
Balshy Fishing Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 I guess I need to order some green pumpkin. I was too excited and ordered PB&J and Summer Craw, only had one catch so far with the Summer Craw, that's it. 1 Quote
gripnrip Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 I won't go fishing without Green Pumpkin, but I could not fathom life, without Blue Craw. Took the words out of my mouth. 1 Quote

Can't wait to find out on my own how they do here in Central VA!!! WDYCrankbait, Just an update for you. Last night I received a huge Rage shipment and Green Pumpkin was on there. All backorders were filled this morning and shipping today. Thank you!! ShaneJ, Blue craw is probably one of my go to colors now especially in the menace. 2 Quote
Primus Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Love this bait so far, need to add Watermelon Candy . Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted July 9, 2014 Super User Posted July 9, 2014 I won't go fishing without Green Pumpkin, but I could not fathom life, without Blue Craw. I heard dat. Almost don't use any other colors. Quote
Super User iceintheveins Posted July 9, 2014 Super User Posted July 9, 2014 My favorite compact creature bait is the 4" pit boss. The rage bug looks somewhat similar though I've seen tank tests and it has a different action. Given that I nail them on pit bosses just about everywhere I fish, should I give in and get a couple packs of rage bugs? Quote

I just ordered a pack of Rage Bugs in green watermelon. Quote
MichiganBass80 Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 I placed an order a couple days ago with TW for a few packs of these. Most are on backorder (they say until the 10th). Couldn't help but go ahead an place another order with Siebert's just now for some more packs and a few extra things as well. Can't wait. I'll definitely be placing another order with them in the very near future for some jigs. Prepare to take all of my money lol. Quote
gramps50 Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Can't wait to get these to see how they do. How is everyone rigging them? I know Gene is using the weighted hooks to make them fall flat. Quote
Super User Montanaro Posted July 10, 2014 Super User Posted July 10, 2014 I like them, but I think I like d bombs more all around. Bugs probably better in more open water as they swim back well and kick more on fall. Quote
