A small, family owned business in Bloomington, Illinois. Out of business for a lot of years. If I had a fresh Spudnut next to a fesh Krispy Kreme, the Krispy Kreme would get stale. Before A/C, people would sit outdoors to try and stay cool, so did all the neighbors. Everyone was outdoors so they got to know each other. Once the inside of the house was cool no one went out anymore. Quote

I'm not positive but I think that their is still a Spudnuts in Galesburg IL. When I lived in the QC's their was a Spudnuts there 20yrs ago or so. Quote
