I play to buy a combo for heavy applications such as frogging, flipping, pitching, punching, swimbaits and jigs. I plan to buy a Berkley Lightning rod as well as a todo 7:1:1 reel to pair with it. So here are my questions.

1. Should I buy a 7' Medium Heavy rod or a 7'6" Heavy rod for the applications above? ^^^^^^^

(I have read on Tackle Warehouse that a lot of people like 7' MH rods for frogging and flipping)

2. What reel should I buy to pair with it? I was thinking one of these reels.

- Abu Garcia Pro Max

- Lews Tournament MG Speed Spool (Already have one on my Texas rig rod)

- Lews Super Duty Speed Spool

- Lews Tournament Pro Speed Spool

Whaddya think???? Thanks guys.

definitely go with the 7'6" rod in heavy for pitchin', flippin', punchin' and froggin'. of your reel choices, go with one of the lew's in 7.1:1. the super duty weighs more and will better balance out your rod but the tournament pro has a shallower spool and will pitch and cast hollow belly frogs better.

Lews Super Duty,,,,,,,solid reel, power handle, solid gears, plenty of capacity, 7'6" H if really thick cover , 7'6" will give you a lot more leverage.

7'6" H rod for sure. Many enjoy the Lews superduty, I personally went the TT pro route for those exact applications minus the frogging and I am really enjoying this reel for those techniques.
