Steven Ladner Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Academy now has online sales. Just wanted to give those of you a heads up that may be paying above retail for the H2O Xpress baits on ebay. I'm not going to post the link though, not sure if it would be okay or not. Quote
Vinny Chase Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 I've been waiting for this post for A LONG time! Can you order from Academy.com? It might be because I am not signed in, but there isnt a purchase option available. Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted March 25, 2011 Super User Posted March 25, 2011 I've been waiting for this post for A LONG time! Can you order from Academy.com? It might be because I am not signed in, but there isnt a purchase option available. Same here, I see no "ad to cart" or similer option. I don't even see color/size charts for lures either. Quote
Bass Junkie Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Thanks for the heads up! As for not being able to buy off them..... I beleive its at a different web adress, but don't quote me on it......... Quote
Bass Junkie Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Ok, heres the Clearance web adress.... BassThumb Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Awesome! Everybody should try the CRS cranks. Quote
tnbassfisher Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Guess I've become pretty spoiled with having an Academy in town. Quote
Super User Goose52 Posted March 25, 2011 Super User Posted March 25, 2011 I ordered one of their bluegill hard swimbaits and also found some good stuff on clearance and placed an order. Caution - the shipping charge is STEEP. I got enough savings on the clearance stuff to compensate - but it's still spendy. However, the shipping charge was still less than the gas would cost to drive to the closest Academy in Knoxville TN... Quote
krisjack69 Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Yeah the standard shipping is 10 bucks.Trying to buy a 2.99 bluegill lipless crankbait. Not worth it if u ask me.It would cost me more in gas to go to macon ga tho.Macon is 2 hours away which is the closest one to me. Quote
Avalonjohn44 Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Finally! Getting ready to place an order that will justify the shipping costs... Quote
Fat-G Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 That little 4 1/2" Gill swimbait looks pretty good... Anyone used them? Quote
krisjack69 Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Man I hope they will lower the shipping rate at some point. Quote
