Revo STX

I use a Gen2 STX on my frog rod, it performs very well in that role.

Quantum Energy.

X2 good reels for the money. Current model has the flipping switch. Older model can be had for under $100 and is a work horse

Lew's Super Duty or BB1 Pro. Two incredible reels under $200, made for exactly what you wanna use it for.

I like my Shimanos.... The Curado I is a very strong.. Well built reel. Many say Lews... Many say... Diawa Tatula... It seems many folks are very happy with all these selections.... The new curado palms easier than the tats... Sooo... I say you should handle whatever reel on said rod... Then see how you feel... Also braking... Many have said choose a braking system you like... That may help..... But there's a lot more to it than that. In the end this is still you're choice! I don't like the t-wing myself... I can outcast these reels with any of my shimano reels... But again, that's me. Have fun trying to decide... It's part of the fun! Good luck... Let us know what you decide!

I decided to get the super duty. Sounds like a great reel. I might get another one in a lower gear ratio for big swimbaits

good choice
