atpns1234 Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Just curious as to what the other anglers are using. Quote
BigKev77 Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Check out the Senko sticky. Lots of info there and a section just for line and hook size Quote
nascar2428 Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Owner Twistlock 3/0 for 5", 4/0 for 6". These hooks will allow more fish per bait, regardless of which brand Senko style bait you choose to use. 1 Quote
Megastink Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 For Texas rigging, I like a 4/0 Gammy round bend work hook (straight shank). For wacky rigging, I prefer a 3/0 Gammy finesse wide gap worm hook. It's small profile allows me to use a bigger hook without sacrificing action. Quote
Super User bigbill Posted May 24, 2014 Super User Posted May 24, 2014 I use the eagle claw 449w weedless hooks. In 2/0 & 3/0. Quote
Super User F14A-B Posted May 24, 2014 Super User Posted May 24, 2014 I use mainly owner twistlock w/ cps in 3/0 to 6/0 But... Use the smallest hook for the most action. There is a ton of info in the senko section... If you haven't read it yet... You should.. Good stuff! Quote
Super User iceintheveins Posted May 24, 2014 Super User Posted May 24, 2014 4" - 1/0 EWG Gammy 5" - 3/0 EWG Gammy Quote
Super User Munkin Posted May 25, 2014 Super User Posted May 25, 2014 Depends on what you are trying to achieve with the bait? When t-rigging the bait you want as much of the bait free from the hook as possible so the bait can shimmy. Generally i use a 1/0 or 2/0 hook on 4" baits as o not restrict the movement. Allen Quote
BasshunterJGH Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 2/0-5/0 gamakatsu depending on size of senko Quote
Super User QUAKEnSHAKE Posted May 25, 2014 Super User Posted May 25, 2014 I use the eagle claw 449w weedless hooks. In 2/0 & 3/0. X2 but in a size 2 Quote
