I will be throwing small cranks and some lipless what is the best pound test and what is the best line

10-17# mono or 10-17# fluoro. depends on where you are fishing them and how deep/cover etc.

Man I just tried using mono on my cranks today and I aint doin it no more.

Cant feel a thing on it  anymore.. spoiled

Try using a flouro leader (2-4 ft long) tied to braid.  You get the low visibility advantage of flouro (where it counts) and the strength and castability of braid.  I think it's the best of both worlds.

X2 be warned though lol if you do go braid you wont be able to go back to any other line for it the sensitivity is amazing. makes fluorocarbon seem like mono

What rod are you fishing those baits on. Makes a difference to which line will suite you best!!
