BasshunterJGH Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 Hey guys I'm looking for a spinnerbait rod in the $100 price range. I'm trying to choose between the Denali jadewood, duckett ghost and st croix mojo bass for my lews speed spool. Which rod is best? Quote
OntarioFishingGuy Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 I have a Mojo bass and i love it. Can`t say much for the other 2 Quote
rangerjockey Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 The jadewood spinnerbait rod was discontinued awhile back, I believe the topwater rod is the same blank but if you throw more than 3/8 its a little soft. Personally I would spend the additional 29 bucks a get the kovert. A great spinnerbait rod and also makes a good squarebill rod. Quote
BasshunterJGH Posted May 23, 2014 Author Posted May 23, 2014 Thanks. Ill check the kovert out it sounds good Quote
Capt.Bob Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 If you have to have the split handle go for the Mojo, I would step it a notch and go with the made in USA Premier, there have been some Mojo models with problems (quality control issue) they are warranted so they will take care of any problems, i would go with the Premier since it has a great track record, and a great rod plus they finish it with a complete handle and reel seat!!! Been around for over 20 years and will be here for another 20,,,,,,says something! Quote
BasshunterJGH Posted May 23, 2014 Author Posted May 23, 2014 Ya I like that premier. I felt it in bass pro shops seemed light and well balanced and I'm ok w/ the full cork grip. I also like that its made in the USA. Quote
BasshunterJGH Posted May 23, 2014 Author Posted May 23, 2014 Also what do u guys think of the abu Garcia veritas. I have the spinning and I got it online for only $50! Do u know if they make a good spinnerbait/ swim jig/ squarebill rod? Quote
Capt.Bob Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 St. Croix,,,,,unless you don't want that much rod,,, Quote
