So today, I lost both my spinner & my boo ya pad crasher[don't ask how, I feel like a imbecile].

Anyways, what would ya'll recommend as a solid replacement for each? I only had one bite on the pad crasher so maybe you guys use something different?

Any suggestions would be perfect!

I am assuming by spinner, you mean a spinnerbait. I say replace them both. Both are great baits under the right conditions. You only had one bite on the frog. It doesn't mean the bait doesn't work. It just means frog was not on the menu. Trust me, when frog is on the menu, you will be creating a new thread....

Haha yeah, I'm trying to figure out the best replacement for both to get the "best" outta' what i'm throwing.

Try a Spro, Livetarget or Evolve frog. If you mean a spinnerbait, i would go with either a Booyah or a Strike King. If you mean an inline spinner, i would go with a good old Mepps Black Fury.

Just replace both. I dont fish with spinnerbaits much, but the pad crasher is just fine. They work just as good for me as the spros, and are a lot more affordable.

Like BigBlock said the Pad Crasher is just fine. If you have the option, throw the frog on braid. Booya makes good spinner baits as well. I throw hollow body frogs on 50-65 lb braid. I throw spinner baits on 10-12 lb mono. I hope these guidelines help.
