Super User F14A-B Posted September 22, 2014 Super User Posted September 22, 2014 Not a bass, but one of his cousins with the same "I bet I can eat it" attitude. 4" Senko & a 4" fish That's what I call a gutsy hookset... Quote
RSM789 Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Yeah, I felt bad about it, but in typical Rock Bass fashion, he swam away like nothing much happened when I released him. I half expected to see a bass swim up and inhale him as he made his way back to the shoreline cover. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted September 22, 2014 Global Moderator Posted September 22, 2014 Fishing for catfish bait a couple days ago when I caught this prize winner! That's shorten 2" grub on a 1/80th ounce jighead for scale 1 Quote
Meridian69 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 I have to add mine to this thread. I caught this little guy on a Rapala DT4. The DT4 was 15-20x bigger than this bass. It was hooked through the lip (no clue how this happened) and was successfully release. By far the smallest fish I have ever caught. Enjoy! 2 Quote

RSM789 Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 I actually have a lot of respect for little fish like this. Any bass that has the huevos to try to eat something his own size deserves our care. I want that fish breeding in the future. Quote

PersicoTrotaVA Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 I didn't even know he was on there. I don't know what possessed him to even try for it... 1 Quote

This guy was such a stud that he didn't bother nipping at the rear feathered hook, he went straight for the middle of the bait. "...Get in my belly..." 2 Quote

AndrewJ Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Probably not my smallest, but this is the most recent one on film. Caught on a 5 inch grub and 1/4 oz ball head jig. Quote
