Jdm219 Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 I'm in northwest indiana and the bite is somewhat slow. Where are you guys finding the fish? Shore fishing due to not having a kayak yet. But where are the fish biting? Thanks guys! 1 Quote
sparky241 Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 I haven't been getting bites at all, I was at ox bow park yesterday and didn't even get a sniff from the fish Quote
Dyerbassman Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 I fished Pine Lake in LaPorte yesterday and they were hitting wacky rigged Senkos. Mostly small males, but definitely a good sign. This week of warmer weather should help the slow bite. 1 Quote

Dyerbassman Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 I fished the docks on the northeast corner, near the Blue Heron Inn. Quote
Samuelson Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 I've been taking them on flukes mostly, shallow water just along the shore. Black and blue jigs have been pretty good too. This is my first year not hammering them on spinnerbaits. Quote
