It would be challenge that is a stiff stick 5 is doable 4 is a pain and doesn't load well at all. Add a 1/4 ounce weight and yes both can be done

Tight lines

I have a 6'6" M/F 2PC Veritas with a Core 50Mg sitting on it.  I can throw 4" & 5" Senkos quite nicely with it.  Though I don't have problems throwing 5" Senkos with any of my combos.

Good luck with what you pick.

Heck yeah with or without a weight. Great rod for the money.

I'm honestly shocked at the replies.

Are we talking weightless or weighted?

I have a 7'3 MH that I would never throw a weightless Senko on ...would tear it to pieces...

I'm like the only one who thinks its a broomstick. Definitely go with a M...imho.

I throw weightless senkos (5") all the time on a

7'4" heavy loomis rod.... Never tear them casting

A MH casting Veritas is too heavy if thats what you are buying it for. It is a stiff blank they use. I have that exact rod and actually love it for carolina rigs and heavy jigs in 20-30 ft of water. Definitely go with the Medium if you want to throw senkos on it.
