What a worthless POS does any one have any me and my nephew picked up a few packs they were on sale. we threw them yesterday and they wouldent swim no matter how we rigged it. The best way we could get it to swim right was by burning at the point where you feel like your hands gonna fall off. Any tips to get it to swim without doing barrel rolls like a stunt plane.

I used a keel-weighted hook with mine and they ran OK. Just not very good plastic for hook-ups, which is why they are in a storage box at the house.

I had a similar experience with these.  I could not get them to swim at the desired speed.  If I have to burn these, then they are useless to me.

Cut just a little of the plastic away from the area between the body and the tail.  Makes a world of difference.

I thought maybe the boiling water trick might work where you dip the tail in then stretch it to give the tail more action

I bought a bunch from walmart on clearance, and had them out this weekend, mine swam fine on a keel weighted hook too.

Hooligan:  I would like to know where exactly to cut them to get more action though. Do you cut a notch or sort of 'plane' some of the plastic away?
