I talked to a dealer who carries the lure and in his words "that boat is junk". It looked good when i saw the pics and reviews but after checking one out in person, not paddling mind you, i thought it looked like it would be like paddling a barge and not be very maneuverable which may be ok depending on your intended use but no thanks for me. Sorry to derail.... Quote

Sorry to derail.... No derailment happened. I need input. The pescador might be sold soon so I might be settling with the Ascend D10T if I don't find anything decent locally Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted May 24, 2014 Super User Posted May 24, 2014 Then why is he selling it? That's pretty hypocritical. There are other boats in the line up that sell and customers want them so he sells them. And by junk, it doesn't mean the quality is bad per se but rather it is not a well designed boat. For lakes it would probably be ok, albeit slow but in that type of boat i am looking for maneuverability for a river and the lure just doesn't have it. It is really crazy though because i started kayak fishing about 4 years ago and the number of quality fishing kayaks out there has probably quadrupled, which is a good thing. I will say the seat in the lure was pretty comfy. I was looking at it as a replacement to my coosa i sold last year but I will probably get another coosa or a ride 115 instead...leaning towards the coosa though as I really did like that boat. Quote
Mr_Scrogg Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Keep looking. Youll find the deal you are looking for. Quote
