This might sound ridiculous but an old school original bomber A in tenessee shad.

I throw just about every brand, but when all else fails, that model and color seems to get one in the boat.

That's one of my favorites too, along with a lipless crank (I'm not really picky, SK RES, Rapala, Cordell spot or rattle-trap) in chrome w/blue back.

These are the ones I'll try first.

Boy this is just too difficult to pick a favorite. It changes with the seasons and sometimes day to day and sometimes during the day. My favorite is what they will hit while I am on the water I guess.

Either RC1.5 in Blue back/chartreuse or Megabass Griffon in Crack Jungle color or Bandit 100 Chart/Pearl... Hard to pick just one.

RC 1.5, Copper perch is the most producing color but they all work. Bandit 100 in Old Matte light is second.

Honorable mention and last years crankbait rookie of the year was the SK silent 5 series in Gizzard shad. While I didn't catch anything big on it I did catch a lot of fish on it.
