tholmes Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 This might sound ridiculous but an old school original bomber A in tenessee shad. I throw just about every brand, but when all else fails, that model and color seems to get one in the boat. That's one of my favorites too, along with a lipless crank (I'm not really picky, SK RES, Rapala, Cordell spot or rattle-trap) in chrome w/blue back. These are the ones I'll try first. Tom Quote

Blue Streak Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Boy this is just too difficult to pick a favorite. It changes with the seasons and sometimes day to day and sometimes during the day. My favorite is what they will hit while I am on the water I guess. Quote
Avalonjohn44 Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Either RC1.5 in Blue back/chartreuse or Megabass Griffon in Crack Jungle color or Bandit 100 Chart/Pearl... Hard to pick just one. Quote
RyneB Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Strike King Series 5 in chart. sexy shad, with the DD in Bluegill pattern not far behind. Quote
SausageFingers23 Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Last season is was the Bomber 4A in threadfin shad. This season, Im going to give the XCalibur squarebill a workout. Quote
FL_Sharpshooter Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 For fishing the shallow canals here and this time of the year, the silent kvd 1.5 in bluegill color, hands down. Quote
Super User Munkin Posted March 20, 2011 Super User Posted March 20, 2011 RC 1.5, Copper perch is the most producing color but they all work. Bandit 100 in Old Matte light is second. Honorable mention and last years crankbait rookie of the year was the SK silent 5 series in Gizzard shad. While I didn't catch anything big on it I did catch a lot of fish on it. Allen Quote
lynyrdsky1 Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Any crankbait as long as it's a Bandit!! Quote
