Which rod are you throwing your senkos on? I hear a lot of different rods.what determined your choice? Right now I'm using a medium casting crucial 6'10" should I change?

Medium or Medium Heavy depending on the rod and the conditions

i have a 6'8 mh and i throw senkos on it alot., even had a 40 yard hook set the other day.  I think the question you should ask yourself is " are you catching fish on your rod or missing them" . If you are hooking most of them, unless you just want another rod , stick with what you got.

I throw strictly 5 inch senkos and I would never throw it on a medium. Most senkos weight 1/2 oz weightless...

Within reason, I generally let cover dictate what tackle I use. Obviously, you're not going to do too well throwing 3" senkos with a flipping stick and 30# fluoro. Anything from a medium light on up to medium heavy should get the job done. I prefer a fast or extra fast taper for plastics.
